Class Growing Again

I am blessed to see Shannon and Ernie returning to class. Our class can only be a benefit when we can work together on our strengths and weaknesses while being open with one-another. Carrie and I don't have the perfect marriage, but i do feel that our marriage has truly benefited greatly since our class began. With the blessing of Shannon and Ernie being in class again, this also indicates answered prayers on their behalf. They have been able to sell their old home and purchase a home that they have been working on for months now to remodel. (The pictures that I have seen are incredible!)

Our class gathering for the Wild at Heart studies fell through, due to Mother's day, so we hope to be able to continue in June at our house and possibly do some outdoor activities at the park that day as well. Volleyball! Softball!

I finally want to give praise for the new building. The majority of the members seem to have really been able to pull together and make this happen. (I sadly have been unable to do so.) I was lucky to get to services a little early yesterday and go in to see the amazing work and how it is coming along. I am so impressed. God has truly blessed our congregation.

My oldest sister

Giving God the glory for a visit from my eldest sister, Missy, yesterday at services. She brought her husband, Nick, and her two youngest (step)children, Julie and Matt. It has been more than ten years since Missy has stepped foot into her "home church". I pray for her and my brother often, that they may find their way back to our Lord. maybe this is the first step for Missy. The seemed to really enjoy our Young Married Couples Class.

I would ask that you pray for my Grandma, Ina. Her health and smile seem to be fading a lot.

God Bless!

How to use

First you need to create an account in your name: a profile. They don't ask a lot of personal questions, nor do they seek a credit card number...all of this is free...but you do need an email address.

Then, when you are ready to write, go to the top right corner and add a new blog. For those of you less computer friendly than I, that simply means a comment or conversation. (Not sure why lame man terms can't be used these days!)

It will then let you type in a small box, change fonts and things...if you like. The bottom left button, blue, will let you save it as a draft, in case you aren't sure you want to publish it, and the next to it is an orange button, to the right, it will let you publish/post it on the Gadsden praise page.

I hope everyone that comes here will find a brief moment to give God the praise.

How God helped us last week!

I wanted to start!!! Last week Carrie and I felt a financial pinch as our savigs was being dwindeled due to van problems. Fearful of the account being drained with bills coming due, a principal's license test needing to be taken, and my graduation fees to be paid, we said a prayer that our funds would be enough to meet our necessities. Two days later I received a refund check from JIU for paying too much toward my completed program. These funds are enough to cover the test, graduation cost, and repay our savings from having the van worked on. we just want to thank him and give him praise!!!

God is great!

Giving Praise!

In order to edify one another, I have created this blog location to allow the members of Gadsden church of Christ of Indiana a place to acknowledge how God is working in our lives.

I invite you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, to make comments, posts, conversations, etc. to share how God is working and moving in your life today.

(Don't fear what will happen if you make a prayer request...you are welcome to do so.)
If, you, the reader, see a post for a prayer request, what I ask that you do is stop at that point and say a prayer for the person. It only takes a moment to lift someone up to God through our Savior. This is a way that we can make sure that when we say, "I'll pray for you," that we actually do.

There aren't any requirements here. This is just to be a way that we can socialize with those of like faith throughout the week and share the way(s) that God is touching our lives!!!
